- OUTREACH MINISTRY
- The Allahabad House of Prayer is a vital part of the outreach ministry of IGNA. A dedicated group of prayer intercessors gather daily for prayer lifting up the prayer requests coming from local churches as well as from the mission field. These are followed up by visitation, email and telephonic response. With the great need before us we trust in the near future to have a telephone / counseling centre to meet the greater need of this ministry.
- Distribution of New Testaments on a local and national scale.
- Regular tract distributions in Allahabad especially during the Hindu festival of Kumbh Mela, when thousands come to bathe in the river Ganges.

- SERMINARS / WORKSHOPS

- SPARSH - CHILDRENS PROGRAMME
The late Rev. J. Sylvester established IBTI in 1975. Its core vision is to train and equip young rural men to carry the Gospel message into their communities and beyond, where Christ is not know. The students are given a firm foundation in the Word of God through a two-year graduate course in Theology. Currently over 800 students have been trained and nearly 900 churches have been planted through the IBTI graduates.

Churches established by IBTI graduates are also assisted by IGNA. We assist in building village and city based churches and renovation of existing churches. IGNA supplies tools for evangelism such as motorbikes, mopeds, bicycles, generators, sound systems, gospel tents etc., Assistance is also given to IBTI students to start income generation programmes to become self supporting.
In response to the lack of Christian literature in Hindi language, the IGNA co-ordinates the translation of Christian materials and books into Hindi, which are then printed and distributed free of charge to the wider community.
According to demand, IGNA provides organized seminars and workshops that look at a variety of issues within our Indian society from a Christian perspective. For example women’s seminars may cover family issues of self-worth while targeting new converts may deal with the culture conflict of changing religions.
This may come in any shape or form and is again dependant on the need.
(i.) Medical crisis fund for emergency situations
(ii.) Scholarships for deserving IBTI students
(iii.) Funding for further education if desire/ potential is evident.
The School of Deliverance is conducted one day a week in the evening. It is a six month certificate course titled Claiming Your Inheritance In Christ. The school was birthed from the greater need within the church to help deal with the issues of struggle which many are facing in their Christian walk. As an evening school it is reaching out to the community and made accessible to working men and women and students.
SPARSH (Affectionate) a children’s based programme is reaching out with the love of Christ to the local community. Children attend a daily afternoon programme 4 days a week. They are given free tuition to help them in their education. They are also given a monthly supply of essential toiletries as well as school fees and school uniforms. Each day they are given a supplement to help increase their diet. The love of God is shown to these children as the Good News of Jesus Christ is shared with them. At present we have 218 children in this programme.
